About / esti van balen
Growing up on her family’s farm in the Netherlands allowed model Esti van Balen to develop a passion for clean, organic eating from a young age. She learned to cook healthy meals using produce from her dad’s vegetable garden, and has carried her love for nutritious home cooking into adulthood. While travelling all around the word for modelling jobs, she started learning the craft of sourdough bread baking at different bakeries from Australia to New York to Amsterdam. Dreaming of one day opening her own bakery/cafe in Amsterdam, she now works on publishing her first cookbook together with a friend and fellow model.
