About / joie hahs
Joie was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, with Dutch, German, and Italian heritage. She was first scouted when she was twelve while shopping at Ikea with her parents but did not begin considering it as a career until recently. Her interest in the fashion and creative industries stems in large part from her grandfather who was a photographer living and working in Los Angeles in the 70s/80s and would tell her stories about his work and experience in the field. While building her career in the modeling world, Joie is also pursuing a degree in Marketing at Loyola Marymount University and hopes to expand her work in fashion beyond modeling into creative direction and runway design in the future. She enjoys trend forecasting and thrifting in her free time, as well as being outside and in the ocean.
