A M R I THailing from a small village in Punjab, India, Amrit is a multidisciplinary artist, model, and environmentalist. Driven by her passion for diverse creative expressions, she moved to Paris in 2019 to pursue foundational studies in fine arts at the Paris College of Art. Within weeks of her arrival, she landed her first job with Vogue France, marking the beginning of her journey into the fashion world.Defying traditional runway height standards, Amrit quickly rose to prominence, walking for esteemed fashion houses and earning the title of Top Runway Breakout Star by The Impression NYC. She also made history as the first model of Sikh-Punjabi heritage to front campaigns for some of the world’s most prestigious fashion brands.Alongside her flourishing modeling career, Amrit continues to nurture her artistic passions. Working from her studios in Paris and Los Angeles, she creates art in mediums such as poetry, drawing, and performance. At the end of 2021, she launched her ecological initiative, the Dharath Foundation. This project focuses on environmental protection, reforestation, and community upliftment, particularly benefiting children in rural India and beyond.
