Tindi Mar For Vogue Latam November 2021 Cover

On a mission to find the solution for Guadalajara’s most severe water shortage in a century, Tindi Mar hopes this Vogue Mexico Cover, shot by Sonia Szóstak & Styled by Valentina Collado, will serve as an important platform for her to bring awareness to the crisis, a drought which could cause far-reaching ecological and economic consequences for the extended region.

Rising Star and Environmental Activists with a major in sustainable agricultural sciences and nutrition, Tindi is currently working to prevent the over-stressing of natural systems in a period of rapid demographic and economic expansion in her hometown of Guadalajara.

To promote the recovery and conservation of the water supply in Mexico, Mar’s message prioritizes sustainable systems like the sanitation of aquifers and the opening of access to the state’s water resources to encourage green development.
