South Sudanese beauty Yara Madit imagined her senior year of university would be filled taking classes on black women writers and finishing her final year studying Sociology with a minor in Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska. Yet after being scouted at a dinner with her Top50 sister Achenrin, this modern beauty has paused teaching step-dancing at a local Lincoln middle school and voice lessons to her favorite divas(Beyonce and Mariah Cariah) to pursue modeling full-time. Now based in NYC, Yara has embraced her new role as one of the freshest voices in fashion.
